San Diego--The week of activities has begun for the participants of the Aflac All-American Baseball Classic. It began with player check in and then followed with uniform and practice gear fittings. But the highlight of the day was the welcome dinner and orientation session in the evening.
Five players were honored Thursday night for their individual excellence at showcases conducted this summer by Perfect Game – the selection partner for the Aflac All-American Classic. The winners of the awards are as follows:
Friday is a big day for the Aflac All-Americans. They begin the day at the stunningly beautiful University of San Diego campus for their first practice and player scrimmage. After lunch, the players board buses for their visit with the kids at Rady Children’s Hospital. The players will wrap up the day with the shooting of their player introduction video for the Fox Sports Net broadcast Sunday.
